A spark of brightness in a beige world.
May I share a good news story with yoo that happened to me a short while back?
I had a very interesting and welcome experience recently getting my artwork entry to this year's Sulman Prize from the framers to the Art Gallery of NSW.
I got as far as Oxford Street from the framers in Surry Hills and wondered if I could even make it home to Darlinghurst let alone onto the Art Gallery.
A complete stranger.

He then offered to take a pic of me with my painting and also offered to take both myself and the artwork down to the Art Gallery in his vehicle that was co-incidentally(?) large enough to accomodate my fairly large artwork.
I have been sick lately and I can't emphasise enough how welcome and needed this offer of help was to me at this time.
When we arrived at the Art Gallery the gentle-man then offered to take my pic again.

Amazing, the kind people in this world.
There was no ulterior motive here. He was just being kind.
Thank yoo Robert for being YOO. Someone who knows themselves.
Even the staff at the Art Gallery of NSW had me pass through the artwork hand-over process in no time at all. Pleasant, efficient and helpful.
This all made me feel like I was doing something that had a ring of rightness to it all.
I felt like it was good to be alive. What a gift. - NW
