The irony here is that this commentary will probably help sell more of this item?

While waiting for the bus recently I noticed the advertising panel (pictured).

I suppose that this can be regarded all as a bit of lightheartedness. Goodness knows we need fun in our lives. But building up over time us humans can tend to twist and warp things to a point of silliness, excess and caricature. Just look at reality TV or superhero movies or some of our leaders or too much of the larger than life sales/advertising/marketing today. The ideas of overblown entitlement that we expect but in reality are total privileges make us look like clowns. It is a joke on ourselves. Except it’s not funny it is fantasy.

Our picture here shows the now obligatory PC multicultural family dressed in the trappings of Christmas. 

WOW we now have “Fam jams”  Ho ho ho!
This isn’t fun it is foolishness.

And hasn’t Christmas become one big commercial trap and entrenched annual rut?  Ho hum! 

What I am hearing from people is that at a time when they are already under pressure to have the whole Christmas “thing” lumped in on top of it all is just too much. And here in this image pictured we are now being shown another idea of how we should be celebrating Christmas reflected back to us i.e. becoming lit up Christmas trees. It’s all come to a point of manipulation where our human want, desire and need for happiness is being commandeered for commercial gain ingrained in bad habit. 

Questionably it ultimately has no value or benefit.
Another piece of schlock stuffing in the stockings of our lives.
Time for us to wake up and actually smell the flowers.

We are so far separated from the truth and reality within ourselves that the disconnection is causing us illness. Force feeding pseudo joy on us is like rubbing salt into an open wound.

The issue that needs attention in our time is... 
re-connection to our larger world environment and to each other. Most importantly though it needs to start with reconnection to our own selves.

Begin a journey to YOO.
