POA

The ‘home’ here is everything you can see in the picture. We are the environment.

We are in it and of it.

Each of us is part of the greater whole.

And to appreciate or value our environment and our place in it both inside and outside ourselves we need to know ourselves…well.

Too many are holding onto too many outdated ideas, values and concepts that are separating us from the human being within us. We are so full-on with our busyness that we have become human doings rather than beings.

Perhaps the call to action for our time is:-

Reconnection to our larger world environment, each other but most importantly ourselves.”

We need to say goodbye to old ways of seeing and doing.

It is we who have made our world complex and confusing. It is the duty of our stewardship and unique place in this creation to simplify and enjoy life. Such a conundrum that we are given the beautiful gift of a life and too much we get lost in a forest of our own ignorance.

Make your home of light on a hill and enjoy the view.

Perhaps the river in the picture is washing away the dark preparing us for the oncoming dawn?

What we can do is to want things to be better and if we can’t contribute to making it so then is it so difficult to get out of the way? Or does our pride and ego just constantly need feeding?

FOOTNOTE:

I once made a presentation to a senior politician for a big idea and in the presentation board I had a headline that read “Good things happen when people want good things to happen”. That politician told me to “Get rid of it”

He could only see what he could see... He wore narrow blinkers.

Why do so many politicians and others have to play the know all when in truth they know very little? They think they are the 'BIG boys' with all the answers. Sheesh!

As if they’ve got ANY of the answers to the important questions.

The BIG boys, and BIG girls too, actual start to look a bit silly after a while.

The politician I mentioned is no longer in politics. He didn’t last all that long.

A shooting star across the sky. Whoosh and gone.

I note someone like Clover Moore Sydney’s Lord Mayor is still there getting re-elected for a sixth term. Must be doing something right!

One thing the lady does have is plenty of patience to put up with all of the stupid that’s out there. Patience is something all solid leaders need particularly in these times when so many are so confused within themselves making the dumbest choices possible.

We are the leaders of our own lives…LEAD.  - Neville ☺︎

PS Here is the two companion artworks together. Very happy!
