MEDIA LETTER (UNPUBLISHED)
⬇️ FUNDING THE VISION
From: Neville WilliamsSubject: WE EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM OUR LEADERS WHEN VISION IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITYDate: 30 May 2025 at 11:59:13 am AESTTo: The Editor THE SYDNEY MORNING HERALDDear Editor,WE EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM OUR LEADERS WHEN VISION IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITYThe Herald’s two articles (“Albanese blasts think tank on defence spending claims” juxtaposed against “PM can claim status in five moves” Herald May 30) gives me an idea where Mr. Albanese can “claim status” as a visionary in one move only.He might introduce the vision of the National Policy to match dollar for dollar our National spending on Defence towards realising conscious peace projects. That would provide hefty sums towards creative talents to help realise a better future for us all and/or help reduce pornographic amounts of money being spent to fuel our really pathetic fear mongering. This may also lead a trend to change on a World level the emerging emphasis on increasing spending in the area of defence. We expect too much from our leaders when Vision is a shared responsibility.Kind regards, Neville Williams
