Doesn’t matter who the leader is do people ever stop to reflect on that outdated idea that our leaders are going to make a better world for us? They just don’t….WE DO.

Even the best leaders can’t do it alone. The more support they have the better that those leaders are carried forward along with the masses to make dreams realities.

My point is and I reiterate it…we make our own future better for ourselves.

We get the leaders we deserve.

All too often when our leaders don’t succeed we dump on them big time. That only reinforces the idea that we need to understand ourselves better rather than duck shove the blame.

That truly is a cowardly way out of defeat. i.e. BLAMING THE LEADERS.

Do we need to be shaken awake Australia?

If Americans put Trump into the White House again after being warned the first time around then they have no one else to blame for the end results other than themselves. There will be no back door to escape. Not in these times. They will have done it to themselves with their own clouded view of life and what they feel they deserve.

They’ll get what they deserve. That’s the nature of things.

The trouble is we (i.e. the world) will be dragged into the mess of their own making.

I wonder if we in Australia are still not grown up enough to say the word NO?

Even if Kamala Harris is elected the Americans still need to sort themselves out. The Lady won’t do it for them. They will have to accept responsibility for themselves. Let’s hope enough of them are still in touch with their better angels. Just remember the inadequate always look for someone else to blame other than themselves. And what is being said here is not unique to America.

Leaders are only as good as the people who put them there and who support them.

In the background of all the white noise that is being manufactured presently I heard Anthony Albanese responding to criticism of his and the current Federal Government’s leadership as being wanting by the Opposition Leader.

Albanese’s response was that the elected Government was giving the people what they said they wanted. I can’t quote what he stated verbatim but my reading of the response was that we are scared and want to feel safe. That he can only move as fast as the people will allow him to move.

There is an inference there that we might not blame him if we are going nowhere.

We got what we asked for. And he’s right.

The Late Bob Hawke on leaving his role as Prime Minister made this emotional statement in the company of a group of Aboriginal Australians …"I wish I could have done more but you can only take people as far as they’re prepared to go.” He was right too.

The trouble is when you tread water going nowhere you eventually get tired.

We are drowning in our own lack of being able to see ourselves and move forward with clarity.

Oh I agree 100% this is hard to do. But no one else is going to do it for us but ourselves.
