⚪️🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣⚫️ NEW DIRECTION   Ed. No. 66 - RAINBOW SERPENT RISING!

RAINBOW SERPENT RISING!

A Sydney World Expo is proposed, with a focus on the Rainbow Serpent as a symbol of creation. The event would feature international participation, with countries encouraged to collaborate on shared spaces and prioritize content over extravagant pavilions. The Expo aims to celebrate life and welcome a new age, emphasising sustainability and a holistic vision for the future.

" 'Tis a puzzlement?"
An evolving "Creator" or Rainbow Serpent is hidden here. Can yoo figure it out?

While the focus of a Sydney World Expo would be centred at the Sydney Olympic Park site other locations and events across the Nation of course would be welcome to come to the Party.

For example it is exciting to hear news of the recent announcement that the Town Hall Square in Sydney, a project that had been in hibernation, has been brought to life again.

This location is a very important node point not only in Sydney but Australia and participation of this venue in the celebration of ourselves at a Sydney World Expo would be most welcome.

Dear Editor,

SOME GOOD NEWS AT LAST

News that the proposed civic square in front of Sydney Town Hall is to be fast tracked within 10 years is certainly good to hear.
("Moore eager to fast track civic square” Herald News 19 February)
This would be an ideal civil and civic place to create as a major launch ground for a consciously considered Australian Vision to move us forward.

Just a suggestion but w
e might look at evolving the “cloud arch” dynamic sculpture originally proposed for this location into an interpretation of the arrival of the Creator or Rainbow Serpent!

Whether we’d be ready for all of this within 10 years is completely up to us all.

The Rail Workers Union’s current actions is a prime example of why we are not moving forward as a world society. They are navel gazing in a non-sustainable world and frankly are unable to see the bigger picture. If we move down their path we’d be looking at a redundant world civilisation within 10 years. Take the blinkers off and see the bigger picture or nature will do the job for us.

As for the loss of Woolworth’s at this location... good. It is certainly a busy store. Too much so.
It has a cluttered layout and like a dog fight to do any shopping there.

Your article explains quite clearly the benefits of having in place a long term vision.
Congratulations Lord Mayor and the City of Sydney.
A job being done well showing persistence and commitment towards an wholistic benefit.

Kind regards, Neville Williams

ALL THE WORLD TOGETHER

International Nations participation in a Sydney World Expo would occupy the existing buildings
of the Sydney Showground site dressed appropriately by the participating countries to suit
their chosen/allocated themes.
Shared, interconnected or combined co-operatively working Nation spaces would be encouraged

Sometimes in our world there is perhaps too much focus
placed on external appearance rather than what’s inside.
It would not be undesirable if countries focused on the contents
rather than the ‘packaging’, containers, or exterior structures for their representation.
This would reduce time and expenditure outlay.
No doubt this would be particularly attractive to the smaller countries
and Third World Nations who should be encouraged to participate.

There would though be a need/want for some countries
to occupy their own specialised structures and a section of the Olympic Boulevard
would need to be appropriated (temporarily)
for these purposes. (See Site Map in previous Blog.)
