In a recent blog I was talking about how "earnest" the movie "THE BRUTALIST" appeared. This was only confirmed at the Oscars presentation this last week when Adrien Brody got up to make his acceptance speech for Best Actor in this film.

Brody spoilt his own moment in the Sun. 

When the music rose cueing him to move on he quite assertively demanded that he continue. His acceptance speech occupied five minutes and 37 seconds. This meant others were deprived of speaking time.

There's a lot of people in our world at present trying to push their truth and that they should be listened to. BORING. Some have turned it into a pro-active game even an art form. 

They've got themselves convinced that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Some people think they know and no one but no one is going to get through their impenetrable idea of "rightness" and "knowing" and "entitlement". It's actually dangerous if you start to listen to what they have to say. There's nothing behind the hot air but a vacuum screaming to be filled.  It is because they think they are so right that makes them so wrong. 

Some can want the love from yoo because they are too lazy or confused or angry or fearful or arrogant to look for it within inside themselves. Or in summary is it that we have gone to sleep and our disconnection from our own nature is waking us up. Quite rudely and painfully too!

Anyone who's actually got love in their lives doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. 

They can sit quietly in a corner saying nothing and enjoy themselves for hours on end.

I'm seeing that people have made themselves prisoners of their own mindset. 
Frankly I just want to push people away and get the hell outta there when they start to proselize their idea of rightness with a cemented inability to be flexible or bending a little to the possibility that there are views other than their own. Self righteousness is our disconnected shadow come back to haunt us into some conscious action.

If we all minded our own busyness and put our own house in order wouldn't it be a much happier world?
Is the reason why unyielding characters are running much of the show these days paradoxically because too many don't want to or no longer can take responsibility for themselves? 

Our humanity is in the mess that it is currently through its own intransigent stubbornness.

A bold message for our times might be GET A LIFE. We want love in our lives but insisting that it come to us in our own decided way is simply arrogance and living in our own ego idea of who we think we are and want. 

I was standing on Central Railway Station recently and an advertisement projected onto the Station wall.

It was for a sports drink. 

The voice over said "Life will continue to push us until we push back". 

This is the sort of tosh we're being fed these days. 

We should be thanking life for the gift rather than "pushing back". 

That's just taking on something where you can't win.

Sure this is one opinion here. 

Perhaps you see it your way. Fine. 
It's your walk that you are making in this life. 

No one else's business. Certainly not mine. 

Walk your own walk. 

I encourage you to do just that. 

But please, I choose to stand apart from so many peoples self created train wrecks in life.

We are both the problem and the solution.

A little humility goes a long way.

It is truly disgusting

that we can spend so much time, money and pro-active energy

fuelling our fears and anger through Defence spending and blindly ignore (even regard as totally wasteful) conscious spending and application on projects promoting and encouraging peace 

in our world.

That is just getting our values in life tail up.
