UNTYING THE KNOTS

Do we stop to wonder presently why so much of our world is not functioning properly?

Could it be that a whole knot load of issues are remaining unresolved within us making it difficult for us humans to move anywhere let alone in a chosen direction. When we don’t address matters that need our fundamental focus and attention they fester inside us and eventually become strangling. Things build up until nothing will work properly and those matters are addressed and cleared.

One of those issues on a National level for Australia is the relationship between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians. It is one of those high profile issues on the National agenda that is stuck. Perhaps we need to change the way we are looking at the whole subject?

We are not going to make any headway on the issue of Reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians (or for that matter any subject needing reconciling what is unreconciled) until we place "Reconnection to our larger world environment, each other and most importantly the reconnection to ourselves" as number one priority.

We will continue to walk round in circles tiring ourselves until we change our understandings and values.

There is no one on our planet who cannot better understand themselves. Our living practices and values systems are tying us in knots. The level playing field of 'reconnection' is where our focus needs to be.

You met STAN&PETE in the header above. They are the proposed SYDNEY WORLD EXPO - MASCOTS. Their naming is inspired by the highly regarded Australian journalists

STAN GRANT & PETER HARTCHER who are both outstanding individuals each having something valid to say. And sure you could too substitute any other two individuals here that have impressed you over your lifetime.

But have you impressed yourself?

In essence this symbol represents the balance within us all individually.

As the Chinese say the YIN and the YANG.

As the "Imagineer" here the way I see it is that we are looking at YOU & YOO.

The material YOU and the spirit YOO.

Or perhaps one emoji represents the YOU(head) and YOO(heart)?

Presently the balance in our world doesn’t appear in a flow.

The individuals that make up the whole aren't in flow within inside themselves.

Just look at human beings now to see how out of balance we’ve become.

We're more like human doings.

Multiply that across the planet and you've got quite a mess.

As well as representing balance these two emojis also represent self improvement.

And can anyone not do with some self improvement?

When you look in the mirror at STAN&PETE, both YOU and YOO should feel good!

If you do not feel good then these two emojis are an aspiration to work towards.

SYDNEY WORLD EXPO is about understanding ourselves better.

We need to do some homework.  - Neville ☺︎
