Why do we make it all so difficult?
I’m not going to sit here and pontificate too much with my musings about self love.
One of the reasons the world is so lost presently is that there is perhaps too much said about self love. A person can rave on for hours on this subject. But is this all that helpful?
Too muchie information gets us lost in our own confusions and misdirections.
I would though like to relate to you an example of the manifesting of self love that has stayed with me after watching the hit TV series “Fargo” (Series 5, Final Episode). One of the characters throughout the series had been cursed by townsfolk centuries before to roam the earth empty and unloved in his recurring lives. He is in the series a merciless serial killer but is presented as someone you had to pity for his plight.
Then in the final scene of the series he experiences a release from this prison. He’d certainly suffered big time. I’ve got to say the scene where his inner screaming void was filled with a restored spirit was very moving. One of television’s great moments. That piteous man received what we’re all seeking in all of our unfulfilled misadventures.
The point is that his hollow shell was filled from an inner change. (And I know that people who've seen the Show would debate this point with me.)
Can I suggest that Humanity is making all sorts of messes by looking in the wrong place for our loving and affection? This has gone on for centuries.
Shouldn’t we all be seeking consciously not unconsciously what the "Fargo Man" finally received?
When we truly want it we find it I reckon. Inside.
