CLEARING THE SHITE FROM OUR PIPES
Have you ever been through the debacle of trying to get a party sewer line blockage fixed?
I have majorly in two different locations. And it’s no party. No one wants to know about it but too many households are blasΓ© when it comes to what they put down their pipes.
We’ve had so much of a problem here with sewage and drains in Australia that we’ve launched television advertisement campaigns to educate the uneducated on what is the right things to do. Much of it is common sense but when heads are full of so much shite and rubbish common sense goes out the window (or down the drain).
How we treat/deal with our sewer pipes, drains and rubbish generally are all a metaphor for how people run their lives.
Being the nearest dwelling to the main sewer junction point my home is usually the first to experience a blockage. And it doesn’t matter that I assiduously stick to the rule book where any form of disposal from this home is concerned with a party line the innocent too are in the shite from the start.
Again, this is all a metaphor for where our world has gotten itself to now.
Through ignorance and apathy people are up to their necks in their own and other peoples shite. Some are drowning in it. And those who make stuffed up black holes by their nature draw others into their own created muck pile. And they can’t see that it is their own created shite. In fact their shite doesn’t even stink according to them. But it does. It’s rancid.
It is not my job to clean up other peoples messes.
It is though my job to address my pile.
It’s time for us all to clean up our own backyards.
If we can’t clean up our own shite then what hope is there for dealing with anything as conceptually complex and internationally involving as climate change?
The need for both clarity and love in our world is just massive presently.
Too many are walking around in circles empty of love but full of shite.
Some wise words I heard many years ago that stuck...
“You can be there and do what you can do
but when others start to pull you down with them
push them away and get the hell out of there.”
Get yourself a plan. It’s your walk and your walk alone.
Interestingly, to clear the pipes of shite, we firstly need to remove the wax from our ears. Otherwise what’s the point in anyone who might have some answers or solutions saying or doing anything?
Time for one big huge clean up in our world.
And if we don’t accept the responsibility to do it nature will surely make a job of it…
. . . and us too. - Neville

We humans always want the easiest way possible.
But there's no short cut to life.
