SOFTENING THE REALITY

SUGAR COAT THE PILL

At the top end of my lane is a Kindergarten. There is a large open area playground that has the kids shored up hidden behind a double brick wall and steel bars. They are heard but not seen. It does look a bit like a prison.

But we live in times when kids need to be protected because of their own inability to see the danger they might be presenting to themselves and from those who don't know themselves to the point that they will cause harm to the innocent. (Looking around our world presently it appears that adults need the same protections from themselves.)  It seems even the bricks and the bars these days don't stop predators who will find ways to infiltrate the system. Very sad indeed for both victim and perpetrator.

Isn't it interesting that we take these walls as the norm when in a gentler safer world more in balance there may not be the need for so much security and protection?

But in these times there are those who seem to be so determined to take what they have no right to do so? Is it a case of how empty can we make ourselves before we either 'surrender' what we "think" we want or alternately all hell breaks loose?
Acceptance can be a most wonderful thing. Such a release.

The internet too provides a very dense cover of jungle to those who want something from others for which they have absolutely nil authority to take. If it's not scammers, it's inappropriate content or those who can be trying to victimise you in one way or another. Twice I have had people on the other end of the line who proved to not be who they said they were.

Is junk and scam mail increasing? ... and ever more sophisticated.

And then there is the recent introduction of the under sixteens having access removed to certain social media sites. It seems in good part because there are sods out there in la la land who "troll" others.

What empty hollow lives some must have. Again sad.

The internet of course has most wonderful benefits too but it always seems that there are those who are going to try to manipulate something for their own warped gain. How strange to get off on hiding behind a screen to dominate others?

[I'm trying to understand that the light casts a shadow from anything in its path.
And that the shadow has a light source too.
So what is the barrier to clarity that we humans don't seem to be able to understand? I dunno!]

Also too have you noticed that the content in print, television and movies far too much is about someone getting the better of the other or dominating the other. Or there is some dynamic about destroying someone or something. Seems the West is really into smashing or destroying things? Why?

Could it be that we are not happy with what we have manufactured as a 'way of life'?

If we are part of a civilisation that is not working anymore then we need to find the ways and means to evolve it into something better rather than just destroying it. Masculine energy has a real set about the destruction thing as showing strength when in actuality all it shows is an inability to think outside the very small and limiting box that those people have allowed to imprison themselves.

There is in our own contrived world a fixation on winning that quite often only leads to an emptiness. So what that you might be the best at something or other. Who cares?
"Is that all there is?" as Peggy Lee once sang.

And on 'domestic violence' w
hy is this machismo so negatively infectious across our planet? Doesn't it come down to "Not happy Jan"? Of course Jan (or Jim) must be responsible. Nope. It's just being weak willed, ignorant and having allowed mirrors to become dirty.

We have got our programming all wrong.
It has become a sick world.
Being around sickness can make you sick too with depression, confusion and anxiety.

We really need to set in train the journey towards a new world when we may actually understand that nature runs us and not the other way round.
Some may hold on to the past but change and time will ultimately get its own way.
Wouldn't we love to see that pent-up darkness just swept away or dissolve into the ether.
It's ripe for the heave ho.

The first step in solving a problem is to face up to the fact that there is a problem. The next thing to do is set a pattern in place to evolve the situation consciously.

Our healthy wellbeing on an individual level has got to be the priority number one.
Physical, emotional, spiritual and mental.
Start planning.
