⚪️🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣⚫️ NEW DIRECTION   Ed. No. 180

THE BLAME GAME DOESN'T REALLY GET US FAR

(The public use of the STAN&PETE emoji symbol above is subject to the good and right support of many.)

THE BLAME GAME

Using politicians as scapegoats when things go wrong in life needs to be looked at more seriously by us as a responsible concerned society.
(“Voters send message to Canberra” Sun Herald May 10)

'One Nation' is being rewarded presently because Pauline Hanson (their leader) reflects very well how people are feeling. There is just so much impacting us the disenfranchisement not only nationwide but internationally is palpable. We are outraged. It can hurt extremely so.
I have never faced so much 'uncharted territory' in my life of 72 years and I know my experience is being shared by many. Just so confronting.

When we’re hurting we can react by lashing out or we can choose to examine deeper the reasons for that hurt and put the steps in place to heal that pain (or emptiness).

While our human histrionics might make some feel better momentarily this does not address the wound.

The thing I am finding through my own experience is that things may seem overwhelming but when you get into it, face it and just do what you need to do in retrospect the challenge seems small. I'm left wondering "what was all the angst about anyway?". It is the fear that holds us back. Take a step. Trust yourself.

One way to view what is happening presently is that we are on a learning curve discovering things about ourselves whether we want to or not. Is it that there is a rebalancing in the nature of things that we have accepted as the norm? And sure that is very discomforting to what we have become used to living. What's the bet that in 10 years time we'll look back on now and wonder what all the handwringing was about. We will have grown.

One of the things that we might have learned is the practical understanding that less can be more?

We need to learn to listen to the quiet ones.
Recognise those who know what they are talking about not those who make the most noise.
The loudmouths only want the attention to fill the hole within themselves...with your good spirit. They are usually pretty unhappy people who are empty and wanting to be filled. Where's their creative (as opposed to ill considered ultimately destructive) solutions please?

The leaders who can present cogent considered humankind plans and put those plans into action are those who will garner my vote.

Our disconnection from ourselves needs reconnection.
That I believe starts with each of us as individuals.
Aren’t we the leaders of our own lives?

Empathy and “warm fuzzies” to all presently.
Seems we all need a big hug.
And for starters we need to hug ourselves.
Can you do that to YOO? - Neville Williams

YOO being your deepest self.
